Stuffing the walls!
The pace on site has been steady this week. Inside, crews have been stuffing insulation, running more electrical and mechanical lines, and tightening up the framing so everything is ready for the drywall phase. You can finally walk through and recognize each room without having to imagine where the walls will be - it’s all taking shape in a really satisfying way. Outside, the Tyvek wrap and new framing are giving the whole structure a cleaner outline - you can even see the ne

Windows, Wiring and Workmanship
This week brought steady progress across the building. The crews installed windows, which finally lets us see the real shape of the rooms instead of just framing. It makes a big difference walking through and getting a sense of how the spaces will feel. Inside, electricians continued running wiring through the ceilings and walls. It’s not flashy work, but it’s the part that makes everything else function once the building is finished. Roof work also continued. More sections w

Backstage at the Build Site!
We’ve shared plenty of photos lately, but it’s just more fun to see everything in a quick behind‑the‑scenes tour - especially with our resident Hall of Famer, Fr. Tom, walking the site. It’s a great snapshot of how things are coming together. Enjoy!

Facing East
It’s amazing to look back at where the east side began and see how far it has come. What started as open earth and bare framing has grown into defined walls, rising rooflines, and the dome structure that will anchor this entire side of the church. Seeing those early beginnings next to today’s progress highlights the steady, faithful work happening week after week and reminds us that our new home is drawing closer with every step. Please enjoy this video showing the transforma

Raise the Roof!
Construction moved forward in a very visible way this week. The roof structure is being built out, the walls are getting enclosed, and the outline of the new building is now easy to recognize when you walk up. Inside, the framing is far enough along that you can see how the different areas will function once everything is finished. Roofing crews spent the week installing the sheathing and securing the roof so the next steps can begin. Overall, it was a solid week of progress

Building from every corner
Despite the rain, this week brought another burst of momentum on every corner of the site. From fresh concrete poured and smoothed to additional framing rising into place. The shape of our future church is becoming clearer with every day. We are reminded that every small step, every pour, every nail is building the home we will one day pray in together. Please enjoy this video update from Fr. Tom!

Raise the Roof!
As the snow melts and the days stretch a little longer, our building site has leapt forward with visible progress: roof trusses rising into place, walls taking shape, and fresh lumber arriving in impressive stacks. Even in the cold and rain, the crew has kept a steady rhythm, lifting each piece into position and slowly revealing the outline of the spaces we’ve been imagining for so long. With the roof structure underway and framing nearly complete, the project is entering a p

Sunny Spirits, Rainy Forecasts
It may be raining, but in true Seattle fashion the work hasn’t slowed down one bit — crews stayed on schedule all week as concrete pours, prep work, and foundation progress continued without interruption. The first week of March brought steady progress on the foundation work. Crews focused on multiple concrete pours, coordinating pump trucks, mixers, and finishing teams to place large sections of the slab. Rebar, vapor barriers, and utility stubs were all set ahead of time, a

Closing out February Progress!
The final weeks of February brought visible progress to the construction site. Crews completed excavation, installed underground utilities, and began forming the foundation. The photos show key milestones: vapor barriers laid out, plumbing and electrical stubs positioned, and concrete poured across multiple sections. Heavy equipment and pump trucks were coordinated to deliver and place concrete efficiently, while safety measures and inspections kept the site running smoothly.

Pour, Baby, Pour!!
This week brought even more visible activity on site. Crews completed several major concrete pours using the large boom pump, built taller formwork for the foundation walls, and installed insulation and waterproofing on newly finished sections. Excavation and trenching continued in the remaining areas, and workers prepared the site for the next round of pours. The project is moving forward well, and we’re thankful for everyone’s hard work and care.

Watching our new space take shape!
1st week of February Construction moved steadily through the foundation phase as crews finished most of the excavation and began setting forms, tying rebar, and pouring the first footings. The outline of the new building became much clearer as grade beams and early wall sections took shape. We’re grateful for the safe, consistent pace of the work and continue to pray for good weather and steady progress.

Foundation Work Prep Continues
Construction is moving steadily along at Holy Apostles. The crews are focused on foundation work right now, which includes setting rebar (reinforcing bar). Rebar adds the missing strength. When the concrete hardens around the steel, the two materials work together to create a much stronger, more stable structure.), building the formwork for upcoming concrete pours, and preparing the underslab areas. In the photos, you can see the trenches that were opened for utilities, the r

Building Momentum!
The foundation and excavation work is steadily moving forward, and the site is really starting to take shape. We’ve captured some photos to showcase the latest progress, giving a glimpse into the transformation happening each day. To make things a bit more convenient, stairs have now been added to the bathroom trailers. This small but thoughtful improvement shortens the walk and makes access easier for those able to use them. This is another step toward keeping the site pract

Shaping the Ground for What Comes Next
This week marks an exciting step forward! The excavation and foundation prep have officially begun. The crew is carefully shaping the earth, leveling and reinforcing the ground so we can soon pour the foundation that will support our new space. We’re grateful for your support and look forward to sharing each milestone as our new home continues to grow!
