As summer wraps up and kids head back to school, our own “new year” is approaching too with the Ecclesiastical New Year on September 1. It’s a fitting moment, because the building project has officially passed 75% completion, and you can really see the finish line starting to come into view! Our Dome was set in place today! Nick Strauss captured it perfectly when he shared the photo he captioned it with the phrase “So Much Orthodoxy.” He’s right. Orthodox churches traditionally include a dome in their architecture. Our previous building did not have a dome as it wasn't originally built for an Orthodox parish.
